We invited Mr. Shuho SAKURAI who is a craftsman of flutes, Mr. Itaru SUGIYAMA who is a stage desiner and Mr. Kazuhiko KINAMI who is a music producer to promote the workshop that aim for making the participants feel the sound and space of bamboo in their body.

In this workshop, the participants discuss actually in a group work about how they express the sound they create from the viewpoint of stage design and what the most effective way to perform.

The explanation of this workshop by the craftsman Mr. sakurai.

The experiment of the sound

The participants bring things that seems to make good sounds, experiment the sound of the things for having be sensitive to the sounds. Some participants blow, hit, wave the things to search the possibility of the sound.

The make of instruments of bamboo

The participants develop new idea which occur through the experiment by crafting a instrument individually.

The make of flute of bamboo

Some participants make flute of bamboo.

The presentation of instruments

The participants present the instruments they made individually.

The preparation of the group performance

The participants are divided into several group which don't include selimar instrument the participants made. The participants prepare for the performaince.

This group ask Mr. Kinami, music producer, for advice.
