Workshop : Activity : NPO YOUKEI DESIGN ORGANIZATION

We think that workshops is the principal means of changing the viewpoint that leads to get senses from the environment by using hand. And we manage this organization to aim for training not only formative abilities but basic sence of human being, education of feelings, mutual helps of communities, abilities of communications between different cultures.

	This workshop festival "Summit of summer 2004 @ komaba agora theater" takes place in every year. Youkei design organization performed a workshop in this festival this year.


» Waseda : Workshop of Sound ( 2nd )

	- With the students of Pennsylvania University -

	This workshop took place for having a particular sence of sound by bamboo. We invited Mr. Sakurai who is a craftsman of flutes into this workshop. And what's more, We invited Mrs. Myojin who is a stage derector to introduce the participants to how to walk, sit, perform in the old days because of many foreign students took part in this workshop.

	This workshop took place in a world herigate 'Arc et Senans'. This workshop is the third workshop of continuous whokshop divided into three times. The soil scree is built along facade of one of the building in Arc et Senans.

	- Landscape of chaos -

	This workshop is took place in the 13th international workshop festival at the garden of Chaumont castle. In the festival many architects and landscape designers from all parts of the world made gardens which won through the competition in a space which is divided into about 30 sections of the garden castle by hedge.

	This workshop took place in the Syonandai Culture Center. In this workshop, a booth for introducing a tribe called Dai who lives in China was made in the floor which was opened up to the children generally.
