To rebuild hedges which is going to rot away located
in a old hotel of garden, this workshop is designed to realize
students idea which is totally new, not tradetional one that is
from a long time ago.
We attempt to think out one new and beautiful
form by talking about the form of bamboo hedge that is possible
to build in group work, seeing a row of houses along the street
in Kyoto today and the culture which is made from Buddhism.

A sketch is one of method of communicate
ones ideas. By using hand, the participants develop the
faculty of the sense of making form.

The participants decide the design telling
ideas. The participants develop ability to pull together
the others idea and incline thier hearts to talk own idea
to the others.

The participants cook for themselves.

On the design the participants talked,
they start to make the hedge. Thinking about the strength
of bamboo, they continued forwarded their work. if problems
come up, they must settle the problems instantly,

Finally, the participants sketch the hedge
which was completed. In the sketch, the participants must
think about composition of the hedge like position of plan
and section.
