ININNAWA library is managed by young people who
live in Makassar city. In this workshop we can make confortable
reading space in the opening space in ININNAWA library.
To design it, participants have to think about
what comes below.

What kind of reading space make
the library open space. |

How can the space protect the
books of the library from the climate as if a climate with
high temperature and high humidity. |
All participants, people who manage ININNAWA library,
students who study in Makassar city as well as japanese participants
will hold a joint work as if design discussion and construction
work.,
After the arrival at Makassar, all participants
stay at tourist home both urban one and rural one. We will learn
about the knowledge how to use the space with traditional raw
materials through sketch and research of traditional house. At
night, we will hold a meeting the participants can talk with the
researcher of Slaweji island.
