This workshop is the socound workshop of continuous
whokshop divided into three times. The third workshop took place
in a world heritage 'Arc et Senans'. In this workshop the participants
made modules that is required to build machines and soil screen
walls that is designed in the first workshop which already took
place before and thats is supposed to build in the world heritage
in the third workshop.
The location of this workshop is a big atelier
called "Grand Atelier" located in the twon, "La
Verpilliere" in the midland of France. And Grand Atelier
was possessed by a organization that is the biggest one for researching
on soil in Europe called "CRA TERRA". In the atelier
there are a large number of tool and material as soil, concrete,
slate lime, stone, brick, rock and wooken board.
The participants already estimated the quantity
of the materials required and the materials is already prepared
at the grand atelier before this workshop started.
The participants go ahead with making modules
with thinking how much had better they work for making the building
smooth in the world heritage. The participants also have to think
how they pack the module because the world heritage is quite far
from this atelier.
In this workshop. Mr. Kinya Maruyama, architect
from Japan, and Mr. Ricardo L. Castro, architect from France,
were invited as a Lecturer. There are two kind of workshop. In
the workshop organized by Mr. Kinya, he invited Mr. Naoki Kusumi,
plaster mater, from Japan. The participants consisted of the studeints
of Grenoble University and students from Japan.
In Kinya's workshop, the participants make long
soil screen wall that covers the facade of a building which is
supposed to be restructed in Arc et Senans.
In Ricardo's workshop, the participants make a
machine which cut the view of visitor of it with the concept of
light, color and view.
